As former coordinator of the
Vanguard Project, Steve Martindale was responsible for
recruiting participants, tracking participation, processing
paperwork, sending mail-outs and producing and distributing
print materials, including updates on the project findings.
Background:
Martindale has coordinated the Vanguard Project since its
inception in January 1995. Prior to that, he worked for AIDS
Vancouver's Man to Man programme, coordinating outreach to gay
and bisexual men.
Education:
Martindale studied cultural anthropology and international
development at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.
