Craib is currently the Data Centre Director at the BC
Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, and participates in the
design, conduct, and statistical analyses of retrospective and
prospective epidemiologic studies, and database management.
Background: Craib
managed the Vancouver
Lymphadenopathy-AIDS Study (VLAS) from 1985 to 1992. Prior
to that he was employed as a Research Officer at the National
Cancer Institute of Canada (NCIC) Epidemiology Unit in Toronto,
Ontario from 1982 to 1985.
Education: Craib completed
a Master of Mathematics degree in statistics at the University
of Waterloo in 1983, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in
mathematics at the University
of British Columbia.
