Peter Cornelisse: Statistical Analyst
Peter Cornelisse has left to work in Seattle, Washington. From January 1995 to December 1998 he was a statistical analyst at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, where he participated in the design, conduct, and statistical analysis of retrospective and prospective epidemiologic studies, including the Vanguard Project, the Vancouver Lymphadenopathy-AIDS Study (VLAS), and the Vancouver Injection Drug Users Study (VIDUS).

Education: Peter completed a Master of Science degree in applied statistics at Western Michigan University, after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics at Calvin College.

Awards: Peter won the New Investigators Award from the Canadian Association for HIV Research for his poster presentation "A comparison of risk factors for HIV transmission between two cohorts of gay men (1982/84 vs. 1995)" presented at the XI International Conference on AIDS in Vancouver in July 1996.
